Hi, This is my first post here. the floral picture is my first floral arrangement. it started off as an exercise to see if I could get the 3D effect of the daisy type flower then the fragile iridescent nature of the freesia the blue gry of the sweet pea leaves then a walk in the garden produced the vibrant faces of violas all held together with the optical black of dark red blue and green. After this, I badly damaged by drawing hand and thought I would go doo-laa-lee. I have to draw to be happy. I ended up having to complete a commission so did the cat with my non-dominant hand. This was made extra hard by using matt paper for the first time. this cat picture is the result of what you can do if you have to with your non-dominat hand. cat on Clairefontaine mat done in derwent and stabilo pencils the flowers were inspired by Gillian Rankin using FC polychromos on WN watercolour paper knee length bodycon red color dress
